The Routemaster – bus
I love double decker bus. Especially the classic style.
The most favorite is Routemaster of London.
The Routemaster was an important chapter in the history of double deckers. It served the UK for more than half a century, and was exported to Hong Kong in the 1980s. Unfortunately, all RMs were retired from frontline London services in 2005. As a classic double decker bus enthusiast, the RM is one of my favourite.
I decided to make it 8 studs wide, with classic 80s LEGO® window components. Apart from the stickers for the route display and LEGO® logo. I used some ready-made CARS set components to replicate the advertisement banners to liven the bus.
A small London bus stop was also created next to the bus. While the configuration has been used by foreign LEGO® masters, this one is totally different in execution.
